William Jacobsen of Le gal in-sur-REC-tion directs lefties opponent range extending the Bush tax cuts to a Web site that helps you the cuts calculate your savings as a result of, so that you can donate this amount to charity:
Three law professors have a Web site (h/t RightCoast via Instapundit) established, where people can calculate how much you are an extension to store the current marginal tax rates, then this amount to one of four selected charities donations.
The website GiveItBackForJobs.org, States that the purpose is as follows:
America's shared prosperity is threatened. Even when the great recession of the American middle class devastated, still rich to prosper.
The tax cut deal, while perhaps the best that the President could get, which is not end this crisis of American democracy. It does too little to help the middle class. And expected that most give too little support from those who can afford. Ordinary citizens can act together to create a shadow tax policy and correct these errors of the Government put it, the movement towards an only prosperity. Here is how.
Americans who have the means should together back tax cuts give our Bush by donations to organisations, the fairness, to promote economic growth and a vibrant middle class. Such joint action by all visitors to this site starts good government policy to replicate outside the Government and free from the grip of the troublemakers within it. Because contributions to all the selected charities are tax deductible, draft donations through this Web site the Government projects that you help.
We can start this way, Obama of applicant's promises that "we are we have been waiting for."
The website, your "savings" is calculated as follows:
Our tax calculations are only estimates. We are based on the Urban Institute and Brookings Institution tax policy Center micro simulation model (www.taxpolicycenter.org). We follow the tax policy Center and our calculations are based on a comparison of the unemployment insurance reauthorization and job creation Act of 2010, considered by the Senate and the law, as it would have been had no new Statute was adopted. We smooth within the pane in the tax policy Center data. More importantly, our calculations include the reduction of taxes the 2% reduction in the payroll (OASDI)-Steuersatz to employees. This reduction provides the kind of fair and stimulative fiscal policy we hope to imitate and promote.
I like the idea. I have always felt that those who want to control higher should pay higher taxes.
But I'm not sure that the methodology is installed, goal being paid the money to the Government and the donors a tax deduction for donating receives. So the net effect is that paying higher taxes in fact is no act equal numbers it exactly the opposite.
There are also difficult to know if the contributions actually represent a contribution of the taxation of extension of current prices, or just a posting anyway would have been made.
However, I hope that the creators of the site will honor Obama's commitment to transparency and will publish aggregated numbers money donated by the site.
Who ever a Chicago Cubs baseball game, observed knows that if you have a home run ball catch hit of the opposing team you shalt back Tothrow ball on the field.
Rich liberals rejecting the Bush tax cuts seems inspired by this tradition were.
I like it. But why not these do-gooders the money back to give the Federal Government instead? After all, if you really think pay more taxes should that solve the diversion of their taxation for private charity. The Feds have not the money.¹
In my previous post I comedian Zillionaire Larry David, walk this website advised that makes it easy for the taxpayer to donate your money directly to the Federal Government. If rich liberals really want, throw the ball back it go instead of the stupid GiveitBackforJobs site.
Footnotes:
Technology¹ alas, it seems that even per tax Liberals know that the private sector is likely to use your money more intelligently and efficiently than in the public sector. If given the option, also choose to have your money to give private charity.
